Just after releasing the fifth iteration of the iOS 6.1 beta, finally, Apple has released the final version of iOS 6.1 to the public. The update is avialable for all users of iPhone / iPad / iPod Touch. You can update from iTunes or on your device OTA.
Here is the official changelog of iOS 6.1:
- LTE support for more carriers (complete list of supported carriers at www.apple.com/iphone/LTE)
- Purchase movie tickets through Fandango with Siri (USA only)
- iTunes Match subscribers can now download individual songs from iCloud
- New button to reset the Advertising Identifier
This is a good news, but the most exciting thing about the update, has to be the jailbreak. Hackers have indicated that they have iOS 6.1 jailbreak ready, but have been waiting for Apple to release iOS 6.1.
